SCHEDULE

A NEW SCHEDULE FOR THE SUMMER OF 2008

We will be meeting on
the First and Third
Wednesday Nights
beginning May 28th at 6:45 PM
At
New Richmond Baptist Church

The Same materials will be presented
but on different dates.

(Items completed are in RED & The Current Schedule is in BLUE)

Our goal is to have a men's group that is not too busy, but not too loose.
Just enough to keep us accountable and enjoyable.

We attempt to schedule:
A Breakfast, An Outing or Activity and A Bibles Study
once per quarter (Every three months)

In 2008 we plan to have:

4 M.E.G.E.R. Breakfasts
4 Outings
4 Bible Studies (NEW TIMES AND DAY COMING SOON)

January - March

M.E.G.E.R Breakfast—January 12th 8:00 AM

Men’s Sweetheart Dinner—February 8th-9th
(The cost per man is $60.00. That includes the over night stay, Dinner, Breakfast, Lunch and dinner for 2 at the sweetheart banquet. Great teaching and speaking, Various activities at Pine Trails Camp Grounds. Also The Southern Gospel singing Thurston Family will be with us that night. A rose for each Sweetheart. Decorations and a great time. If you are only attending the sweetheart banquet the cost will be $18.00 for the dinner, Thurston's, and a rose for your sweetheart. Men are encouraged to bring snacks, Bibles, notepad and bedding.)

BIBLE STUDY 6 weeks—Beginning Feb. 21st ending April 3rd
(We will be completing our study on the Pursuit of Holiness. It we will skip March 20th as the 21st is Good Friday and many will want to go to that service instead.)

April - June

M.E.G.E.R Breakfast—April 12th 8:00 AM - Hamilton Trestle Stop Restaurant
(Pastor Butler From New Hope Baptist Church, a good friend of Pastor Senters and an Avid Sportsman, will be speaking at this Breakfast. We will also be finalizing the plans for our trip to Cabala's May17th. Pastor Senters will give a short Introduction to the Spring Bible Study)

ACTIVITY—May 17th — (All Day Trip To Cabala's)
(Possibly leave around 9:00 AM for Dundee Stop and have early lunch. Go to Cabalas. Leave to come home around 3:00 or 4:00 and stop for Dinner on the way home. Each man will be responsible for their own meals and purchases.)

(A Five Week Bible Study and Discussion on Being Alert To Spiritual Dangers for ourselves and our families. Each Bible study will have materials you can take home and ask your family to help you by answering a few short questions that we will review at the next Bible Study. This will help any man become a better spiritual leader in their own home without hours of preparation.)

July—September

ACTIVITY— Late July — (Not Selected Yet)

We are looking at A Father Son outing of some sort

BIBLE STUDY 5 weeks—
(NEW TIMES AND DAY COMING SOON)
(A Five Week Bible Study and Discussion on Being True To God’s Standards and a help guide to give to your family. Again each Bible study will have materials you can take home and ask your family to help you by answering a few short questions that we will review at the next Bible Study. This will help any man become a better spiritual leader in their own home without hours of preparation.)

October - December

M.E.G.E.R Breakfast—October 4th 8:00 AM

ACTIVITY—HOBO SPECTACULAR—October 11th 5:00 PM
(Hobo Spectacular on a Saturday evening. Keeping the tradition of funny attire and the Stew, adding a few outdoor games and activities that might attract the younger folks as well as Visitors. The Sunday School is going to help with games.)

BIBLE STUDY– Thursdays, October 23rd - November 20th
(A 2 part Bible Study on BEING A MAN. Five Week for the Fall study and five weeks for the Winter Study. You are gong to have such fun with this one. It will again be a Bible Study and Discussion with Each Bible study having materials you can take home and ask your family to help you by answering a few short questions that we will review at the next Bible Study. This will help any man become a better spiritual leader in their own home without hours of preparation.)

Year Long Review, Thursday December 4th with a sort of Christmas Party.

Nothing Else In December

We have been known to also toss in the occasional Baseball Game, Berlin Raceway, Hockey or similar other outings just for something to do off the regular schedule.

Men’s Retreat & Sweetheart Dinner—February 13th & 14th
(The cost per man is normally $60.00. That includes the over night stay, Dinner, Breakfast, Lunch and dinner for 2 at the sweetheart banquet. Great teaching and speaking, Various activities. Location at this point undecided. We willhave something special for a special day and a special person in our life on Saturday night. A rose for each Sweetheart. Decorations and a great time. If you are only attending the sweetheart banquet the cost will be reduced considerably for the dinner, special speakers or guests, and a rose for your sweetheart. Men are encouraged to bring snacks, Bibles, notepad and bedding.)

BIBLE STUDY 5 weeks—Beginning Feb. 26th ending March 26th
(Part Two of our 2 part Bible Study on BEING A MAN. The first Five Weeks we did in the Fall. There will be a short review and we will get right into our five weeks for the Winter Study. You are gong to have such fun with this one. It will again be a Bible Study and Discussion with Each Bible study having materials you can take home and ask your family to help you by answering a few short questions that we will review at the next Bible Study. This will help any man become a better spiritual leader in their own home without hours of preparation.)

April - June

M.E.G.E.R Breakfast—April 4th 8:00 AM - Hamilton Trestle Stop Restaurant
(A great time of Fellowship and fun)

ACTIVITY—May 16th — (Or Sometime around there)
(Another fun Event planned by the men for the men)

BIBLE STUDY 6 weeks—Thursdays, May 21st - June 25th
(A great Bible Study on BEING STRONG. Six Week this Bible Study on being strong in purpose, faith, spirit and more. I believe as with all these studies you are really going to enjoy this one. It will again be a Bible Study and Discussion with Each Bible study having materials you can take home and ask your family to help you by answering a few short questions that we will review at the next Bible Study. This will help any man become a better spiritual leader in their own home without hours of preparation.)

July—September

ACTIVITY— Mid to Late July — (Not Selected Yet)

Thursdays, August 14th & 27th - Sept. 10th & 24th
(A four Week Bible Study and Discussion on Being Kind and Loving. And a continuing effort to have materials you can take home and ask your family to help you by answering a few short questions that we will review at the next Bible Study. This will help any man become a better spiritual leader in their own home without hours of preparation.)

October - December

(We will be beginning a study on how finances plays a huge part in our families, our fellowship, our faithfulness, and our foundations with God. This will be an exciting four Week Bible Study and Discussion on Learning What it Means To Be Financially Free With Weekly Family Participation Materials to give to your family. Materials you can take home and ask your family to help you by answering a few short questions that we will review at the next Bible Study. This will help any man become a better spiritual leader in their own home without hours of preparation.)

Year Long Review, Thursday December 3rd with a sort of Christmas Party.
